Fly high. Explore more. Fuel your journey at Rome Station!
Featured in Trent Palmers Owyhee Backcountry video, Rome Station provides fuel, onion rings, and even modest lodging to weary travelers in the middle of nowhere. This MSFS scenery package deletes the stock asphalt runway with an invisible dirt one, preserving the textures and grass tufts of the real life strip. It includes numerous custom objects and textures specific to the station, many of which are lit. It also includes a bajillion other objects because in real life, Rome Station has many scrap yard elements due to the years of being a working service station for any type of machine that comes through, as well as it's remote location and ample space. Because of this, there are a few large scenery libraries that are required to get the full effect and accuracy of 0OR6 Rome Station:
This is my first scenery and I had a blast getting to know every inch of this remote location. I have never been here, but one day it would be crazy to find myself in front of the famous Rome Station restaraunt sign. Let me know if you have any problems with this airport, and I hope you enjoy having a strip with fuel to explore this amazing bush flying region of the USA!
1.1 - Fixes the services files and structure that incorrectly caused a global change related to airport services and marshals.

~~Hi there! I was having problems with some ground services (e.g. small pushback, power unit, workers) not spawning at all airports worldwide, and I was able to trace the problem back to the airport services file of your scenery package. I've deleted the AirportServices folder and updated the layout.json accordingly, and these ground services are back to normal.
Please make sure that the path to the Services.spb is defined correctly! Normally the path should follow this convention: "AirportServices\0OR6\Services.spb"
Your package has an extra subfolder in the path called "airport-0or6-rome" (as in "AirportServices\airport-0or6-rome\0OR6\Services.spb"), and I suspect this causes MSFS to apply the settings globally. The sim enforces strict path definitions, and deviations I've found in other sceneries have caused problems.~~
Thanks in advance! This is really awesomely detailed for your first scenery—the station feels like a very cozy place to hang out after some nice, long flights through the high desert backcountry!
