Crescent Creek Strip (CCAK)
Crescent Creek Strip is located near the head waters of Crescent Creek within the Yukon-Charley Rivers National Preserve in Alaska. The strip is used to access a traditional caribou hunting area although moose and bear are also available. Crescent Creek is a public use strip providing access to the creek for rare floaters as well as hunters and fisherman and the occasional gold miner. There are no cabins or other facilities at this site.
The strip is challenging and suited for small aircraft only. This strip is not flat and has been terraformed to match the existing terrain as closely as I could manage. It makes the landing and takeoffs even more fun!
I hope you enjoy it and I always welcome comments/feedback.
