Brings back fond memories of travel from JFK to Daytona Beach. Flight 70 (727-200) flew from JFK to Miami with intermediate stops in Jacksonville and Daytona. Flight 71 did the reverse flight. That was around 1970. Would love it on the new PMDG 737-900 if you have the time. Thanks so much for this.

Interesting. I took NA70 on a 727 once from JAX to MIA. It would be in 1968, I think after a swim meet in Albany, GA. That flight was non-stop exactly 1 hour. I don't have the 900 to paint and test. There is a 727 in the planning and there will be many Sun Kings flying about ... and, that DC-10 is coming too. SkySimulations MD-11 could have a Sun King livery.

Thank you for painting this scheme. My Father always used this Company from Mobile Alabama to Galveston Texas. If I remember right on a B727. Nice color scheme.

You very welcome. Happy to do so. They never flew the 737. In my days, they flew DC-8s, DC-10s, and 727s. Their routing was limited by the CAB (*Civil Aeronautics Board) and they were the smallest of the "trunk" airlines. But they tried and had a pretty good company. National had persistent labor relations issues also.
