This is the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh Hospital in Edinburgh, UK
***Now includes scratch-built 3d modelled Royal Hospital for Children & Young People***
I have imported the hospital from Google Maps using 3 levels of detail for performance and colour corrected the textures by removing the blue tint and reducing the brightness in order to match the MSFS style instead of standing out from miles away! I have also scratch built the additional building, but I am no expert when it comes to 3d modelling and used this as a bit of a learning adventure, so please keep that in mind.
I brought this into the sim to enhance the immersion with the HErO addon, as this is one of the hospitals you may be required to take patients to.
For even more immersion, check out EpicFool's Scotland Helipads, here as this includes a helipad for this hospital.
Check out my other UK hospitals:
Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool
Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford
Pinderfields General Hospital in Wakefield
Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle
Strange, the helipad and the hospital are there and my helicopter is at the helipad, but when I press the "Ready to Fly" button, I am immediately transported to runway 24 at Edinburgh Airport! Any ideas why that might happen? The Scottish helipads are installed individually in the Community folder (using MSLinker). Worse still, when I do the same thing at the Glasgow Jubilee helipad, the Sim crashes!

It is purely scenery, not a location that you can start from if that is what you mean?

Fantastic job. 1000% better than the horrible blocky vanilla MSFS buildings!

Thanks for the great scenery. But as can also be seen in the more recent aerial photos from Bing, there is now a new building with a rooftop helipad instead of the car park. Unfortunately, Google does not show the current extension. Maybe instead of the outdated aerial photo from Google you could put a building with a helipad there, as it is real now?

Maybe. I'll come back to it at some point and add a generic building there perhaps, one that closely matches it. Bing maps doesn't have it as 3d photogrammetry unfortunately either.
