Hawker Hunter 2-seater package for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) v1.0

This model is for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS2020) ONLY, and will not work in earlier versions of Flight Simulator.

Installation:
Unzip to a temporary folder then copy the "dg-hawker-huntert" into your MSFS community folder.

Package contains 6 different marks, and a total of 17 paint schemes.
Fully MSFS native, with Wwise sound pack.

The models can have different drop tank options:

Clean (Internal fuel only)
Inner 100g tanks
Inner & outer 100g tanks

Note! These capacities are Imperial Gallons, not US gallons as used by the sim. See below for adding fuel.

To display the tanks the payload stations must have the correct weight:

155lbs (70kg) - pylon only
160lbs (72kg) - pylon with 100g tank

Fuel must be set to suit in the payload editor:

Inner 100g tanks - Fill to 120g
Inner & outer 100g tanks - Fill to 240g

The fuel gauges and tooltips in the cockpit are calibrated for AVTAG fuel which has a different density to Jet-A as used in the sim, so will show different values to the in-sim payload editor.

A selection of preset stores options can be selected using the RP Selector switch in the cockpit while the aircraft is on the ground with the parking brake set.
The options are: Clean, Inner tanks, Inner tanks with outer empty pylons, Inner and outer tanks.

Amazing. Incredible job. I cant believe this is free. Better than nearly all payware outright. Full AP function with Multi Panel. Probably able to control from cockpit but not tried.

Hi Dave!
Great work , great airplane. Though the TACAN is not working with converted VOR frequencies (alt least for me). So Radio-Navigation in regions without TACAN stations in real life is not possible.
Is there any clue or chance to fix that.

Awesome plane, but I have a question, if I use the autopilot hotkey on my joystick, then it seems like a pitch and heading hold mode is engaged but I cant find a switch for that anywhere in the cockpit. Is this some kind of bug or where can I find the switch or panel for the autopilot?

The TACAN uses the actual MSFS TACAN stations, not VOR conversions. If you want to use VOR, just tune NAV 1 to the VOR frequency and use the guidance on the HSI.

Will the twin seaters also get the larger fuel tanks on the inboard station? Especially T. 68

No plans to add larger tanks at the moment.

I installed your hunter in community OK, but unfortunately get pink / purple skins on all the hunter choices (they show up fine on the aircraft selection screen though) . I see in your comments another user had the same problem . Are they compatible with DX11 / DX12 beta , or do you know of a fix ? I dont have any problems with other addons like this.

HI, sorry to hear you're having problems. I'm afraid I've no idea what the problem could be. The liveries all work fine for me in both DX11 and DX12beta. Pink textures usually means MSFS can't find the texture file. Is this a clean download, or have you added any other Hunter textures ?

You've probably got an extra folder in there. Make sure you've copied only the "dg-hawker-huntert" folder into your community folder.
