This is a new livery for the FlyingIron Spitfire Mk.IXc depicting EN398 AE-B flown by Canadian Ian Keltie at 402 Squadron RCAF, RAF Kenley, England until March 13 1943 when it was taken on by Wing Commander J.E "Johnnie" Johnson and flown as JE-J known as the 'most famous Spitfire ever' for it's 13 victories.
The new livery features:
-8k resolution
-Completely reworked PBR textures
-All new 3D lines and rivets
-Over 150 layers of added detail
This labour of love took 8 months to create, one-mouse-click-at-a-time using Gimp 2.10 and Paint.net
I would like to thank
FlyingIron Simulations for the fantastic model and Paintkit
Bomber_12th for his expertise and advice during the process. Thanks John!
