THIS NEW VERSION NEEDS TO FIND THE COMMUNITY FOLDER, THE EASIEST WAY IS TO PLACE AIRLANDFS IN THE COMMUNITY FOLDER.
IN ORDER TO AUTOMATICALLY LOAD THE PROFILE WHEN AN HELICOPTER IS LOADED THE PROFILE MUST BE NAMED airlandFS_XXX.cfg where XXX is the helicopter ATC name (i.e. airlandFS_R44.cfg)
I suggest developers to put such profiles in the same folder where all the other cfgs are so they will update when you update them

Sorry to hear that, it works for most users...
If it does not work for you, you can use the native flight model we provided with the FREE Robinson 44 and other payware helicopters.
It is not fair to rate badly for free sofware where people work for free for your enjoyment, luckily most users also understand that...

Strangely my joystick input doesn't translate when AirlandFS is running. Any ideas? Joystick forwad, nothing. Joystick to the sides or back, nothing. Turning off AirlandFS fixes it.

Try running SPAD.neXt and setting up (or downloading) a profile for your flight controls. This was my fix in similar situations.

You still need Airland to fly any of the older heli's after SU 11.
(Like the HCG Cabri, R44, H125, Huey and such)
They won't use the MS physics until the devs convert them over to the MS flight model. (If they do at all)

It's still considerably better than the default helicopter engine - still requires decent FMs either way.

I cannot seem to find an answer or solution here as to why AirlandFS is making the blades of the H145 disappear, or appear static when I load the profile?
How do I fix this?

I contacted HPG about that. I received this answer : Airland support is not currently where we'd like it to be and we consider it unsupported at the moment. We believe our flight model has matured to a point Airland is no longer necessary.

Fair enough, I did notice they have now added auto-stabilization to their flight model.

Had a lot of fun with this, but. It seems to have stopped working with the H125. Can't fly more than a few minutes until the helicopter gets flipped over as if by an invisible hurricane

Bitdefender reports this file has a virus and has quarantined the .exe. The reported virus is: Gen:Variant. Barys.337561

Update: BitDefender has updated their data base and AirlandFS now works as advertised. Apparently it was a false positive.

I have the same thing.
The file E:\AirLandFS\AirlandFS Beta 1.5\AirlandFS.exe is infected with Gen:Variant.Barys.337561 and was moved to quarantine. It is recommended that you run a System Scan to make sure your system is clean.

Same here. I hadn''t flown a helocopter in a couple weeks and AirlandFS worked fine then. Bitdefender did not have an issue with it when I installed it.
Not sure how it could be infected now and not when I installed it.

Probably a false positive from BitDefender... will investigate this but with 50k downloads this would be strange....

Redownloaded from flightsim.to. No issues with Windows Defender, I filed a false positive claim to Bit Defender, hope they will update their database soon...

I don't usually mess with cfg files, but would like very much to put a profile in for the new Cabri G2. How do I do that? I can find the aircraft cfg file for the G2, but I'm not sure if I'm copying and pasting it to airlandfs, or just creating a cfg file with the ATC name to go into the Airlandfs Profile folder. Open to any basic instructions about how to do this (which, once explained, will probably result in me head slapping myself for not getting it.)

If you want the profile to load automatically, name it:
airlandfs.cfg
and put it in the folders
\SimObjects\Airplanes\hcg_cabri\
\SimObjects\Airplanes\hcg_cabri_utility\
If you want to load the profile manually, name it whatever you want and put it in profiles folder within the airland fs install folder

I've tried AirlandFS for months and multiple resets and uninstalls, reinstalls, and I'm still unable to get it to load. I have followed steps correctly, but when I double click Airland FS app icon in the folder, it asks if I want to run or cancel, I will "run anyway", the hour glass appears briefly, then nothing. It has done this for quite some time and I can not find anyone reporting this or a solution. Can someone please help? All I need is for program to run while MSFS is running. I will have MSFS operating, attempt to open AirlandFS, and nothing. Please help.
