About
Today's labour of love is the fourth release in a series of whif liveries I'm working on for the DC-6, running through British Midland's history from Derby Airways (1959) through BMA to British Midland (1997). I may go later and do the modern 'bmi' if I fancy it...
This particular livery is the BMA scheme from ~1970, based on the Viscount. This one can have G-AZND and the nickname 'Discount Viscount' like the first :-)
I wanted to do them in date order earliest to latest, but I've got most accurate info for 80's onwards, so started there first. Think of this as a long-haul accompaniment to the 707!
Thank you!
Thanks for dropping by and checking out my livery! If you like it, feel free to leave a like and perhaps a comment with any feedback, positive or otherwise. I'm more than happy for it to be used in screenshots and on streams etc, with credit. I hope you get some enjoyment out of it, and the fabulous DC-6 PMDG have created!
Sadly, this livery no longer works. I really enjoyed this livery. I had to take a little time away from the sim and I am shocked to find this livery got the pink polka dot kiss of death. Since I was away, I can't pinpoint which update broke it. This livery is way too awesome to sit useless and get wasted. Is there a work around or easy fix? It happened with a few other DC-6 liveries. I really want to get them back in the air.

I'll take a look, I haven't flown DC6 in aaaages but I know there's an update to how liveries work etc. now that PMDG have put the DC6 on the marketplace. I'll revise it ASAP :)

:) A couple of people have asked, so when I'm done with these if someone else hasn't already done it I'll give it a bash. I expect there will be way more resources making my lifer easier!
